Down, down, yellow and brown

So, yesterday Moala came home from school and asked if he could go outside and rake the leaves. Of, course I said yes, but knew that Moala had other ideas in mind. Moala had a field trip, back in preschool, where they went to a nearby neighbors house to rake the leaves as a service project. While there, they got to rake leaves and jump into the big piles. So, I knew immediately that's what he had in mind.

It started off really well. Even Dylon and Kendal came out to help.

Then the havoc began! You know what they say..."Work hard, play harder!"

Needless to say, they made a bigger mess than we began with. They sure did have a good time though:)

The Nanny

Those who are close to me know that my little sister, Loisi, lives with my family and I. She doesn't just live with us, like some crazy roommate in the basement or even a relative who's stay is long overdue. She plays a big role in how our family functions from day to day. She is almost like a third parent or maybe even an older sister to my boys. She helps watch my kids, likes to fight with Doug(I think all inlaws like to pick on each other), and even helps hold up our household finances so that they aren't smashing down on Doug and I's shoulders. Whenever Doug and I can't go or maybe don't wanna go somewhere with the kids, Loisi fills the void and will take the kids wherever they need or want to go. Outsiders think that she is just hired help (the nanny), but to us, she is part of our little family. We love her and don't know what we'd do without her!! Thanks, Loisi

Three Kings

So, I guess I will start this blog by introducing you to my little men. I am doing this blog because my sister in law, Halli, said it would be fun and that I'd love it. So, Halli, this is for you...
My oldest is Moala, who is 6 and is in first grade. He is really smart and loves school. He tests Doug and I's knowledge everyday. He has matured so much in the last year, you'd think he was a preteen which makes me wanna cry everytime I think about how fast he is growing.
Next would be my little ladies man, Dylon. He is 4, and loves being the center of attention. He loves to sing and dance and will probably be some kind of entertainer someday. He is very witty, some what of a smart alec. He is too smart for his own good. He is cute, but watch out for this kid. Once you hang out with him, he'll have you hooked and you'll never be able to say no to that big smile and his witty comments.

Last, but not least is Kendal. He is definately the king of his domain. He will be two in December and completely plays the part of, "spoiled, youngest child." He has his dad wrapped around his fingers, and I can barely discipline him because he pulls the cutest faces when he is mad or sad. One minute I'm mad, and then next I am laughing. He always seems to get what he wants because if your an adult, you'll give it to him...and if you're a kid, he'll take it from you. He can definately hold his own!

And that is the beginning to the kings that rule my world!!
